Don't give me that "unconditional" love--God's love is FAR superior!!!

Has anyone tried to comfort you with God's "unconditional" love for you? Sounds kinda bland and remote doesn't it? It even sounds permissive. Well, there is a reason for your lackluster response to God's love being "unconditional." The truth is that God's love is radically more active and passionate. David Powlison demolishes the milktoast mindset of mere "unconditional love," and presents God's love in all of its splendor and vibrancy. He gives many descriptive examples from the Bible of how God's love is dynamic, active, sacrificial, redeeming, thrilling... This booklet is so short and cheap it's embarrassing.
