God’s Greatest Idea: Derailed, Destroyed, Resurrected: God’s greatest problems: Sam, Sin and Satan (Bible Studies Book Series.)

The title of this book is God's Greatest Idea , Derailed , Destroyed and Resurrected . Back before time in eternity past, God had the great "idea" of creating a huge kingdom. His kingdom would be different in that it would not just be a spirit world like God is, but a physical universe. It would have stars, planets, people, animals and plants. It would have a new element: time. It would have a start and an ending. Its "beginning" and source would be introduces by the third and fourth words in the Bible: "In the beginning God ." God made a great clock to keep track of time and to divide the day from the night. The great clock is our solar system with a sun, a moon and our earth . The great clock measure s off the years by the orbiting of the earth around the sun. The months are measured off by the orbiting of the moon around the earth, and the measurement of the days by the rotation of the earth. The rotation of the earth cause s the sun to come up in the morning in the east and go down at night in the west. The days would be divided into two. Half would be light and half dark, but the light half would be longer than the dark half because people do not need to sleep half of each day but only one third. The reflective mantel of air makes the day longer than the night. Time has been going along for just over 6000 years, and we do not know when it will come to an end. I know 6000 years is out of line with the millions and billions of years evolutionists believe, but they were not back there with God and did not see how and when he created things. We live in the time between eternity in the past and eternity in the future. Time and prophecies are closely related. Some prophecies have been fulfilled and some have not yet been fulfilled. The prophecy of the one thousand year reign of Christ as given in Rev. 20:1-10 is still in the future and will take place before the great white throne judgment as given in Rev. 20:11-15. God did not want a kingdom of robots, but of people and angels and animals who could make choices. They would be able to think. People would only have one way to "derail" the kingdom. That was to eat forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The kingdom was "derailed" when Adam and Eve ate forbidden fruit. The sub title is, God's greatest problems: Sam, Sin and Satan. Sam, sin and Satan were all present in the garden of Eden when Satan tempted Sam (Adam and Eve) and i t was "destroyed" when death set in. It was "resurrected" when Jesus was resurrected in an immortal body. He gives the privilege of being resurrected in immortal bodies to all who believe in Jesus (Jn. 3:16) in a life changing way, and they will live with God forever in the new Jerusalem. It will come down fro m heaven and rest on the new earth where the old Jerusalem now is. Th e old earth will be purified by fire. (2 Pet. 3:10-13) Then those resurrected with immortal bodies will live forever with God in unity with God and others and will have " t he joy of the Lord." All troubles will be in the past. Jesus and John the Baptist both preached, " Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand." " Repentance" and "belief" in Jesus are the requirements to enter the kingdom of God.
