Have you ever wondered what is supposed to happen to your life after accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior? Earl Clampett explains that there is much more to the Christian life than answering the altar call and getting saved. In fact, accepting Jesus is just the start to this new life. We soon realize as we read through this scripture-based book that in the beginning we were not created for heaven, but to rule on this earth. Those Christians who believe they have nothing else to do for the Lord but wait for heaven are going to see that God does have a problem, and it is with their theology! It's about time that someone stepped forward and honestly explained that God expects more from Christians than just waiting for heaven. A Christian life is not a free ride but requires being obedient and doing the will of the Father. Good job, Earl! Reading this book will change a lot of lives and help people realize life is not only about going to heaven, but they are a part of the Kingdom of God right now!
A Prophetic Work

Earl Clampett is returning us to what the Gospel is all about. Those who really believe and follow Jesus will, as a direct result of that belief, want to do what He says. This book concisely puts the Christian's walk into the right perspective - centered on Christ and His Kingdom. It is biblically based and accurate in its teachings. Love it, hate it, but do read it

Is heaven the end goal of Christians? Are we saved just so we can save ourselves from hell, or did Jesus come to do more than that? Did he come to save us from our sins and to cause us to live righteously here and now? Earl Clampett makes the case that it is not a place that is our goal, but rather a transformation of our lives here and now. We are to bring the kingdom of God to earth - Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. His book is clear, concise and well supported by scripture. It is worth a careful reading and some thoughtful consideration. It might challenge your current theology - Earl asks some tough questions but he answers them thoughtfully and with scriptural support.
Moving the Christian to spiritual maturity

The author presents the case against spiritual shallowness and immaturity that plagues the Church today. He presents a comprehensive argument for the Christian to put aside the "dumbed down" simplistic salvation gospel with it's "abandonment theology" and embrace the gospel of the kingdom. The author shows that the kingdom is doing God's will with the ultimate result of the individual Christian and the corporate body of believers becoming the image and likeness of God. The author likens salvation to being given a scholarship. Everything is paid for but you still have to attend class and do the work. The author brings back the concept that Christianity is a lifelong growth process, similar to the "Theosis" concept still understood in the eastern Church. The author shows his legal training by making each point with sound Biblical evidence, including all of his Scripture references for the reader's convenience. Reading this book reminds me of being on jury duty, watching a good lawyer make his case. A top-notch book.

I was quite pleased with Mr. Clampett's simple yet direct style and approach, his abundant and relevant use of scripture as well as his clearly defined analysis and conclusions. The serious Christian looking and seeking God's ways and truth will surely benefit from Earl A. Clampett's presentation of a clear topic for today's world.
