Fabulous road-trip story!

Wonderful! Fabulous! Wow! You too will fall in love with these characters. The setting is beautifully portrayed, and fans of the funky ways of human nature will be delighted. I can't say enough about what a joy it was to read each chapter, wondering what kind of weird and wonderful was around the corner. Bravo Charles Trafford! You remind me of early Tom Robbins... and that is quite a compliment.

Great Book - Nice Cover Image

I liked this book a lot because it was very fun to read and the cover is interesting because the road seems to go on forever. Based on those two things I would reccomend this book to anyone wanting to read a good book with an interesting cover.

What a gem of a first novel!

GOD'S COUNTRY by Charles Trafford is a most engaging story--sometimes funny, sometimes sad and reflective, and sometimes very poignant--especially the Epilogue. The author has developed well-rounded characters who are quite believable, and whose conversations are natural--never awkward or stiff. The imagery is fabulous! I often re-read passages because they were so beautifully constructed and just filled with remarkable awareness and sensitivity to detail. I recommend this book with no reservations, and I do hope the author will continue writing. I'd love to read more of his excellent and creative work.
