God's Chosen Hero is a history based Black Comedy, featuring a young boy named Bird, as he comes of age at the onset of The Second World War. Bird is a Loxley. He is a direct descendant of Robin Hood. Fortunately, for you and the world at large, he believes in the Chivalry of The Merry Men, and his right to steal whatever he can. But things aren't easy for young Bird. Lurking in a haze of coal dust is his mentor, Hamish Campbell. An insufferable Scotsman; hero of The Great War, and a the recipient of The Victoria Cross, who in Bird's opinion, is a right royal pain in the arse. In this history gone awry, Hamish Campbell tries by fair means or foul, to mentor young Bird, as he embarks on his life journey.
