God's Camping Adventures

All of us have experienced times when it seems like we're in a wilderness and struggle to know why. God sometimes orchestrates these journeys to reveal Himself more to us. This book describes how God took some of His people on camping trips and the lessons learned.

So, welcome to God's great camping adventures. If you are part of the camping community in some way, whether it's your calling in life; or an arena where you volunteer and use your talents and skills; or you are just a camper at heart, you have probably seen firsthand the benefits of that experience. You have seen how God can use that setting to make a difference in people's lives. And as you know, it takes talents and skills to have a successful camping adventure.

So let me ask you, "What's in your hand? What has God entrusted you with to use for His glory?" I believe God has a plan to use us to accomplish His purposes just like He used Moses. Even though you may not have had a "burning bush" experience like Moses did, all of us who are believers have a holy calling on our life. Jesus gave it to us right at the end of His time here on earth. We call it the "Great Commission" where we are told our task is to go and make disciples.
