I found God's Arm to be a refreshing perspective on the life of Jesus and the circumstances and environment which helped to shape the scriptures of the New Testament. He describes the life of Jesus as a man by illustrating the Roman point of view as well as relating the social pressures of the Pharisees, Sadducees, as well as the role of the Sanhedrin. He also is able to describe the emotions that Jesus might have felt as a man and how he learned what his role might be in his life on earth. William Anderson does a superb job from a historical perspective with only a few historical errors. The book is well written and maintains intense interest from beginning to end and I highly recommend it to anyone who might be interested in the circumstances of Jesus's life or anyone who wants to be entertained with a captivating story.

Wonderful! GOD'S ARM made the life of Christ come alive with customs, history, and feelings Jesus may have faced as he started his ministry. My understanding and Bible knowledge jumped by leaps and bounds in reading this book!
