Jesus said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." (Revelation 22:13). Jesus is God. As the Son of God he came to earth in human form, died, and was raised again. In His dying, he made a propitiation for our sins, so that we might have eternal life and an everlasting relationship with God. Jesus Christ is our Savior, and He is God, and to know Christ should be our main objective while living in this world. Paul put it this way, "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead (Philippians 3:10-11). So we too should strive to know Him.
