God Made Me Special

This was given to my daughter when she was in elementary school as a letter to carry with her each day to remind her that God made her special. My daughter was faced with adversity that others often see as a behavior issue; but I knew it was much more than that. I prayed to God and asked him to help and guide me so she could get on the right track, and he helped me with this letter that now has turned into a book. Kids go through so much beginning at a young age, and peer pressure is rapid as they go through different phases of life. Kids are unhappy with themselves, or a part of their body, whether it's their teeth, nose, ears, body, or hair. When God makes something, he doesn't make any mistakes; he makes each and every one with their own unique design. It's important for our kids to know that no matter how they look, they must remember that "God made me special."
