People are different as
nighttime from day-
Some fellows have old
bones that creak.
Others are bouncy-they
flounce and they play-
God made every person unique

Our world is increasingly polarized, and our media, on the right and the left, works hard at demonizing the "other guys." And I don't mean to say that there aren't things worth fighting for--things worth dying for, even. But so many today seem to have lost the ability to understand that disagreement and hatred are not synonymous. It is possible to disagree and still respect and love one another.

This sweet little rhyming book celebrates diversity in outward appearance but also diverstity in areas of personal preferences. Aimed at very young children, it speaks to things they are familiar with--their homelife and their playtime activities. But it sets them up at a young age to withstand peer pressure and group think by teaching that God made us to be unique people with a variety of strengths and talents and personal preferences.
