Perfect for siblings

I thought this book arrived at our home at a perfect time. You see Barnabas is a sweet little bear that begins to believe that he is not as special as his friends. He's not an especially talented builder, painter, fisher or a number of things his friends are....he feel dejected. We can relate to this in my home because I have identical twins and as they are getting older they are struggling to realize their individuality. They have a hard time notunderstanding why they are not both exceptionally good at whatever topic might be at hand in the moment. I loved that Barnabas friends rallied around him to show him that he was uniquely created and loved by God. Something I try to express to my twins. My girls may "look" the same but God did not give themthe exact same gifts....and as Barnabas they will learn come rain or shine...God loves them.
