God Has Already Said YES!

There comes a moment in every believer's life when faith must move beyond asking, "Will God?" and begin resting in what God has already said.

We spend much of our Christian lives trying to persuade God to do what He has already promised. We pray harder, speak louder, search for the right words, and sometimes wonder whether enough faith might finally move the hand of God in our direction.

Yet biblical faith does not begin with our words. Faith begins with His Word.

God is not waiting for us to convince Him to be faithful. He is faithful.

He is not waiting for us to talk Him into keeping His promises. He cannot lie.

He is not waiting for us to manufacture enough faith to make His Word true. His Word was true before we ever believed it.

The apostle Paul wrote: "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us"
(2 Corinthians 1:20).

That verse is the heartbeat of this book.

In Christ, God has already said YES.

This does not mean that God has promised to give us everything we want. It does not mean that faith is a formula for manipulating God, nor does it mean that our words possess some independent power to create whatever we desire.

Biblical faith is far greater than that.

Faith discovers what God has said, believes what God has said, and then brings our lives into agreement with what God has said.

Our confession does not convince God... It agrees with God.

Our words do not create His promises... They cooperate with them.

Our faith does not make God faithful... It rests in the faithfulness of the One who has already spoken.

Abraham discovered this when God gave him a promise that seemed naturally impossible. His body said one thing. Sarah's body said another. Time appeared to contradict the promise. Circumstances offered no evidence that what God had spoken could ever happen.

Yet Scripture says Abraham became "fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform" (Romans 4:21).

That is faith.

Faith is not pretending the problem does not exist. Faith is becoming more persuaded by the promise than intimidated by the problem.

There will be moments when circumstances scream NO while God's Word says YES.

There will be prayers that seem unanswered.

There will be promises that appear delayed.

There will be wilderness seasons when nothing around you resembles what God spoke over you.

There will even be moments when you must wrestle with the difference between what you want God to say and what God has actually said.

This book is not about forcing God to agree with us. It is about learning to agree with Him.

Throughout these pages, we are going to examine the God who cannot lie, the promises He has spoken, the difference between faith and presumption, the power of biblical confession, the necessity of patience, and what it means to stand upon the Word of God when everything around us appears to contradict it.

Perhaps you have been asking God for an answer.

Perhaps you have been standing between promise and fulfillment.

Perhaps you have prayed until you do not know what else to pray.

Maybe you have wondered whether God heard you, whether He remembers what He promised, or whether you somehow missed Him along the way.

This book is an invitation to return to the foundation.

What has God said?

Once you know what He has said, faith has somewhere to stand.

The question is no longer whether God can be trusted.

The question becomes whether we will believe Him.

God has spoken... His Word remains... His promises are sure & Christ is the guarantee

When God has already said YES, faith has the courage to answer: .. AMEN.
