Omigod..... I Loved This Book !!

This book helped me heal my pain from the election... This is a sweet and simple story about a young woman from Minnesota whose dreams for a better world have been utterly dashed. Like so many of us who have been working to make this a better world, she felt disheartened with the outcome. Now, this is where the story gets fanciful... buckle up your seatbelts, suspend your cynicism... Okay, God incarnates as a WOMAN and runs for President... This is the backdrop for some IMPORTANT and BEAUTIFUL lessons about how we really can change the world. I'm buying this book for all my girlfriends for Christmas!!

If only politics were this way!

This book will lift the spirits of anyone who's feeling saddened or weary about the shrill and unkind tone politics today. As a old political hack, I know that the status quo of "how things are done" but....God for President made me think a good "what if..." about politics, public policy, and the legislative process. And it made me consider how I can be a better citizen and a better human.
