Dated but Good

Terence Fretheim offers a beautiful and theological outlook on reading the Bible. This is a great read for people who are interested in a way forward when encountering difficulties within the text of the Hebrew Bible. Are there texts and authors that disagree? Why? What does this mean for my faith? Do we throw the baby out with the bath water? Fretheim provides a compelling reading of the Bible that explores what it means to have a 'Relational God' that will, in turn, encourage Christians to challenge Platonic understandings of the Divine that they have not been able to separate from their faith.
