I designed Goat Notes to keep track of my small backyard herd of goats. Finding that I tended to keep notes in various notebooks and margins of books all over the place I needed to have one central location to put everything, and so "Goat Notes" was born. I tinkered with the format and information until I felt that it was just right for the backyard or pet goat owner (me and others like me). In this book you will find references helping you get to know your goats and information regarding their care. You will also find record keeping pages. Here at Honaker Farm we raise dwarf breed goats - Pygmies, Nigerian dwarf and crosses of the two. If the reference applies only to dwarf breeds then that will be noted for you. Most medicines that we give are based on weight, so knowing the weight of your goat is very important to providing care for them
