This book, which includes the journal Sam kept during his battle with cancer, chronicles not just a journey on foot from Kentucky mountains to Chicago sidewalks, but also a journey through adversity and disease to find out just what can happen when we reach a point in life where there's no choice left but to go meet Oprah, if she will meet him.
