Go and Catch and Flying Fish is a captivating story of smart children with good goals and attitudes. Sadly, the parents of the three main characters are constantly quibbling, and the mom just isn't focused on parenting. However, they have friends whose parents are even worse; they are focused on materialism and appearances. How these children cope makes fascinating reading. There is an abundance of information on birds and aquatic life. There are lessons for parents about how not to approach that vital role. There are great ideas for children for hobbies and interests. This isn't Mary Stolz best book, but it is well written.
