This book is a brief approximation between the philosopher Michel Foucault and university education, using the concept of Gnothi Seauton (know yourself) in which the philosopher analyses during his classes at the Coll ge de France in the 1980s. Self care (epimelea heauton) was a d lphic maxim in ancient Greece, which the Greeks had as a practice of freedom, and which was made effective by several aspects coupled with the presence of an Other. It will be in this bias that an attempt will be made to analyze it in the contemporaneity, in order to think about a relationship between teacher and student within the classroom.
