Glory POV
There are two versions of me.
By day, I'm Glory Shepherd-the girl who lifts her hands in
worship, sings at youth conferences, and posts Bible verses on
her Instagram story. A pastor's daughter, a role model, the
golden girl of Harmony Hills Church.
But by night? I become G. Shep-the masked, mysterious pop
sensation that everyone is dying to know more about. My voice
is the same, but the message is different. Instead of singing
about Jesus, I sing about love, money, and making it to the top.
No scriptures, no conviction, no limits.
I tell myself it's just a stepping stone. That once I'm famous
enough, I'll turn it all around and use my influence for God.
Right now, I just need to play the game. Win the industry's
trust. Get my name out there.
I tell myself all of that.
