A fresh perspective of hydrology

Global Hydrology is distinct from the other Hydrology books in the sense that it clearly shows the signifcance of Hydrology as related to the real-world problems. There are no long derivations and governing equations; rather, it focuses on the processes and develops an understanding of the underlying physics. The chapters relating to environmental aspects are particularly appealing.
