Excellent resource to get a sampling of Govett's writings

This book is a condensed/"excerpted" version of some of Robert Govett's great writings. Since most of his books are now out of print, this little resource is a great way to get a sampling. Having said that, those who are more interested in an in-depth study of the subjects Govett deals with - should also look for his unedited books - especially "ENTRANCE INTO THE KINGDOM" which I consider to be his magnum opus.

Wonderful - challenging and very important!

This is not a book to tickle your ears but one that will challenge how you live your life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Robert Govett knew how to draw the most amazing insights out of the parables and stories of the Old Testament and bring it right up to date.Read this book carefully and prayerfully. Mr Kulp has done us all a great favour by compiling this book of an author who remains relatively unknown in our generation.

Fine introduction to the mysteries of the coming kingdom.

Mr. Kulp has sifted the essential teachings of Robert Govett from literally thousands of pages published during the mid to late nineteenth century, in England. Govett was probably the greatest theologean writing in English before Pember. He was also aparently the first to promulgate the truth that not all Christian believers will inherit the millennium age. There is probably no better starting point for the hungary believer interested in mining the secrets of the Word than this book. How blessed, indeed, is the Christian who finds this and studies it
