Look out Ansel Adams!

The photos in this book are absolutely beautiful. It is an amazing representation of Glacier National Park in the style made famous by Ansel Adams many years ago. The book is a must have for the libraries of those of us who know and love America's National Parks.

Absolutely stunning

I own this book and would recommend it to anyone to own or to gift to a friend. It's the perfect gift, both price wise and size wise, and the perfect book for a coffee table. The images are stunning and the contrast of black and white adds a dramatic tone to an already intensely dramatic landscape. The composition of the images attest to Bret's eye for detail, arrangement and capturing a unique view of Glacier National Park's natural beauty. I live by Glacier National Park and have been many times. This book shows the park in a different light and way that adds an element of surprise and essence to visually experiencing the park. My dad, who loved the book, had never been to Glacier National Park and he enjoyed the book just as much as I did. It's a beautiful composition in capturing the breathtaking beauty of one of the world's "last best places." The author clearly has an artistic and professional knack for presenting a unique and unusual glimpse into Glacier National Park.

I have this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who has visited Glacier National Park or has yet to visit the park. Bret's images are the next best thing to seeing it with your own eyes - stunning! Bret has a gift for capturing the breathtaking beauty of the park and it's inhabitants through the lens. He is a true artist and it shows in this beautiful book. I am fortunate that I live near the park - it is "my backyard" and now with this book I can share it with my friends and family near and far. If you have been to the park, buy the book as a memory. If you have never been, buy the book to inspire you to visit.
