The Girl Who Never Was

By: Richardson, Ruud

Who killed the Quisling collaborator the night before the German invasion? Five years later the war is won, and the exiled Norwegian royals want the murder solved. The investigators are as unusual as the mystery itself: an enigmatic Norwegian SOE spy, a war-weary English army officer, and their aide-de-camp sergeant. Assisted by a modern-day Viking, a policeman out to prove his loyalty, and a nun with a gun, they will uncover the crime's secrets . . . and their own.

The character motives and events in these pages are representative of the post-war period. To that end, and with those stipulations, this book, though a work of fiction, is true.
