If you love the taste of ground ginger, you are bound to consult this cookbook frequently. Merinoff's (I checked the cover and copyright page of my book and as far as I can tell that's the correct spelling of the author's name) instructions are clear and her historical references add to the charm of this book.As for its recipes, the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is outstanding, a small cake whose flavors improve over time. Looking for some mouth-watering main courses? Try the Chicken with Ginger-Corn Bread Stuffing or the Sauerbraten with Gingersnap Gravy.I think you'll be pleased with this purchase.
