Gina & Kyle Find Each Other in Laos

Gina is twenty-three and raised in a Catholic family. She is not well off financially living in Los Angeles with her family. She works at the YMCA at the information desk and babysits. Her older cousin Gloria, who does ok for herself, took her to Cancun for her 21st birthday and ever since then Gina has wanted to travel and get a second stamp in her passport. One of her babysitting gigs pays Gina with a $10.00 scratch off Lotto ticket. Gina trades it in on another ticket, never playing the lotto before. She wins $20,000.00 and she makes her plans to go to Laos based on a YouTube video that she watched the next night. Gina was born with Phocomelia Syndrome and has no arms. She does not inform her family until her flight arrives in Shanghai China from LA. She wanted to do this on her own and even though she is an adult, her family would never have allowed her to go by herself.
When she arrives in Laos and is in immigration, she needs someone to help her fill out her forms. Kyle is thirty-one and raised Baptist. He lives in Tampa, FL and just lost his job. He has compassion for others and sees she needs help. He steps in to help Gina with her forms and this begins their friendship, adventure and challenges and love for one another as they travel around Laos together for two weeks.
