Between fragile wingbeats and the weight of storms, these pages hold the quiet ache of being alive-love and hunger, beauty and loss, moments too fleeting to name, yet too heavy to forget.
Gilded Moth Wings is a tender poetry collection for those who feel deeply, who find themselves in shadows and sunlight alike, and who understand that even the most delicate things can leave the strongest marks.
This collection was shaped over many years of writing and healing. Sydney's journey began at sixteen, after being struck by a vehicle and sustaining a serious head injury. Years later, she and her family were gravely injured in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings-an event that deepened her relationship with writing as a way of processing trauma, finding meaning, and giving language to experiences that can be difficult to name.
She hopes these pages find you with gentle hands, an open heart, and a listening mind.
In its final pages, Gilded Moth Wings turns outward, offering space for you to begin your own journey of reflection and creation-because every soul has wings waiting to unfold.
