Gifts From My Pen Vol 2: A Marriage Between Ink and Man

In the beginning I thought I wrote because the words felt nice resting on the page. Even now, somedays I ask myself, why write? The resting well answer still swells to the top of my tongue, but there are so many newly discovered reasons also. I write for release, to find parts of myself I was hoping to lose in days gone by, I write for discovery of parts of me I've forgotten or yet to meet. "Gifts From Pen", is an earlier version of myself I am glad to re know. This book was offered to display how and why I wrote. So, over time I could gage if I held my pen tighter or better. Contained are verses written between civilian and military life and back to civilian again. We use words to describe paintings hopefully my attempt of painting with words are clear and will become more definitive as time moves forward.
