Quality is ok, hard to read

I really like the NLT translation as it's super easy to understand, no issue there. The cover of this Bible is nice quality, kind of a suede leather. My issue with it is it's a 2 column bible and on the inner column the words are so close to the center of the book I have to almost break the spine to open it enough to be able to read them. I originally thought maybe it was a defect with just my copy but I did research and it's this Bible in general. I'm keeping it as my backup but will be getting a different one in this translation.
