The word of God (in really cool pastel colors!!)

Okay, let's talk about why I recommend the King James. It's actually a really recent discovery that has 2 prongs to it. 1) Bible translators do NOT have your best interests in mind when they say they are making the Bible "easier" to read and comprehend for you. What they actually mean is that, since Americans are paying less and less attention to their education, that the Bible needs to use only one syllable words so the masses can "get it". 2) If you have an NIV, or any of the other new translations out there, you have a Bible where verses have been cut out!! Try finding: Acts 8:37, 1 John 5:7, Matthew 17:21, and 23:14. If you're like me and don't like people telling you what and how much of something you can read, then hook yourself up with the good old KJV. It's strong, solid, and will increase your brain power as you read it!! Plus, this particular version is inexpensive, and comes in all sorts of nifty pastel colors that are so vibrant you won't need one of those 20 dollar Bible covers. Praise the Lord and pass the KJV!!!!
