This book contains the ancestors of the author's parents Joseph Giesbrecht and Annie Dyck. Three generations of families are included all the siblings of each generation and the ancestries go well into the 1700s on all sides. There has been confusion about some ancestors which have been corrected as possible. The oldest generations have passed away and the youngest has had many deaths. The descendants of these people are spread across countries and most do not have this information. While this is mostly a listing of ancestors and a generation by generation ancestry, it is valuable information for many that is not readily available. The ships that ancestors arrived on in Canada are listed with the families involved. Many marriage dates are included with the applicable couples and the death country or province of the heads of families. About 2800 people are mentioned or listed.
