the mighty redwood

peter johnstone captures the majesty of these national treasures with extracts from an interesting variety of contempary material. these giants have seen the rise and fall of many species, and this book does them justice. the photo section is mainly logging, and touristic of felled trees,but fascinating all the same. the book is a must.
