Moving poetry
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 22 years ago
These poems are beautifully and subtly written and moved me to tears. For people who do not usually read contemporary poetry (that includes me actually), you might appreciate the fact that these poems tell a lovely story (about a soldier during World War II, based on his real experiences) in a compelling way. My husband and I could not put this collection down until we finished it! This book of poetry is a great contribution to the body of war poetry and to contemporary poetry in general. You will be moved by it!
