In the abandoned red and purple house lives two ghosts who haunt the second floor. First, there's Trick, who begins his day by making sure the floor boards still squeak, petting the black cat that roams the halls, and practicing his screeching. As the clock strikes twelve, Trick goes to check on his little brother, Spooks, who spends his time wearing a dirty sheet with a spider perched on his head, playing with his blocks. Trick realizes that Spooks has no idea how to be a proper ghost so it's time for some lessons. Trick spends the day teaching Spooks how to make scary noises, haunting the hallways, and hiding to give someone a good scare, but when Spooks makes a series of barnyard sounds, trips over the cat, and accidentally shows his feet while hiding, Trick realizes he's in for more than he bargained for. But when Spooks suddenly goes missing, Trick is in for a scare of his own
