He was there and then he was not. You wouldn't believe me when I tell you I saw a ghost in the graveyard, but I know what I saw. The being could be more of a phantom with how dark his hair was and how the deep tips seemed to fade into shadows themselves. At times he seemed to look more like a solid and other times I could see right through him. Was he really there or just a projection?
If this were the game, I found the ghost and I'm safe. Now everyone else needs to rush back to base before they are caught, just I don't feel safe. Then he's back. An uncertainty racks my skin as his eyes that feel more like solids take in my being. Maybe he isn't a ghost after all. Instead a phantom that waits to horrify me and prove its existence. That apparition haunts me now. It's always in the distance until I call out to it. Then he's drastically closer and I wonder if I'm safe like the game says or if I need to run to base.
