Systematic Theology is a study of the scripture that takes the plan of God and the gospel from eternity past all the way to eternity future. As important as it is to study Bible verses in context, it is equally and vitally as important to take a step back and study the Bible as a whole in context and get the bigger picture of who God is, why he created us, and what for. This is what systematic theology is designed to do and to answer. It systematically takes the thoughts and doctrines of the Bible like the puzzle pieces that they are and puts them together to get the bigger picture of God and answer the questions that are on all of our minds, like: "Who is God?" "Why did God create us?" "What is the plan of God?" "Where are we headed?" "Can we trust God and the Bible?" "Who is Jesus Christ, why did he come, and what does that mean for me?" It will answer many other questions, but hopefully it will answer the main ones like "where did we come from, and how should we look at the world?" Systematic theology will answer these questions and my honor in writing this book and my prayer is just that, to answer our questions and enable us to "Get to know God" and his plans and purposes for us. May God help and bless this study
