Lucky in Love

Bookstore owner, Kaylee Daniels hasn't been the same since the day she met Luciano Valenti, owner of an Italian restaurant bearing his name. Although she channels all her spare time and energy into the store, she manages to close on time this particular day of the week. Kaylee is usually the first to arrive, so she spends her time daydreaming about the illustrious Luciano, who makes her nervous. Luciano is not nervous to say the least, he's just not looking for a commitment. Since neither of them has time for a serious relationship, on a whim, they agree to just have sex. When forces beyond their control take over, will it take an act of Congress to pull them apart? Kelley Nyrae's GETTING LUCKY WITH LUCIANO is a well-written, heartfelt saga of two people afraid to fall in love. The damage caused by their parents' failed relationships tarnished any wishes they had for a happily ever after. Eventually, the truth comes out, and Kaylee and Luciano realize the harsh decisions they each made could affect their happiness. Getting Lucky with Luciano

For the past six months Kaylee Daniels and her two best friends have always had their girl's night out fling every Friday night at Luciano's. Instead of just having dinner, Kaylee would rather be having Luciano Valenti as her main course; but, every time he came near her, Kaylee became the world's worst klutz. So how was she supposed to attract a sexy Italian like Luciano when she was always spilling stuff all over the place? From the first moment that he saw Kaylee Daniels in his restaurant Luciano was captivated by her alluring charm. But, because of her seemly lack of interest and his wanting to avoid a commitment, Luciano never voiced how he felt. And, then one night out of the blue, Luciano discovered that Kaylee had the same desires as him - to have a "no strings attached" relationship. Will these two be able to maintain the no commitment/all sex relationship or will one or the both of them want to change the rules to their relationship to make it a more permanent thing? I found Getting Lucky With Luciano to be a delightful, intriguing read. This story focused on two people who were determined not to enter into a committed relationship because of various things that happened in their past. Nevertheless, no matter how hard they tried; emotions and deep feelings entered the picture, which caused major conflict between the couple. There was a few times where I wanted to knock some sense into their heads all while feeling sorry for them because I totally understood their reasoning for trying to end their relationship when things got too personal. From the get go it was easy to see the attraction between Luciano and Kaylee and when they united in a passionate, intimate relationship it burned like hot melting candle wax. I took great pleasure in reading Getting Lucky With Luciano and I hope Ms. Nyrae rewards her fans with additional stories that involve Kaylee's two best friends. Chocolate and Pasta Filled Dreams

Kaylee Daniels is a young, African-American bookstore owner who knows what she wants and love has nothing to do with it. She focuses all of her time on making BookEnds a success. She learned from watching her mother and grandmother, love is for fools. So, her time is spent working and hanging out with her friends, Tabby and Bri. Most Friday nights she spends with them at the Italian restaurant, Luciano's. Getting Lucky with Luciano by Kelley Nyrae Vitollo is a romantic view of what happens when a woman thinks she is in control of love. Luciano's focus is on a making a success of his self-named restaurant. He enjoys the ladies just fine, but, he has no interest in a serious relationship. He is convinced he is like his father, a workaholic, who would have no time for a permanent woman. He feels women are for temporary pleasure only, but there is something about the dark brown beauty with the braids, named Kaylee. Every Friday night, Luciano flirts with Kaylee and she reluctantly flirts back. They soon find their thoughts consumed with each other. Being unable to stay apart they make a pact to date just for sex, with no strings attached. Getting Lucky with Luciano allows the reader to take a leisurely stroll through their relationship, watching it build. The reader is allowed to get into the heads of both characters. This novel is a recommended read for those who love a leisurely, sensual, romantic novel. Angelia Menchan APOOO BookClub

Nice read

Kaylee Daniels is a independent woman and owner of her own business, she's happy except Luciano Valenti makes her clumsy, incoherent and hot to trot. Now what is a independent woman to do. Well get Lucky with Luciano. Go after the man and offer him comfort and closeness of the sheets and hot steamy kisses and that other stuff. Problem well Luciano has issues he only wants no commitment since he feels he's his father's son, and doesn't believe he can make any woman happy. His desire is not to hurt Kaylee. Now Kaylee doesn't want to need a man. Okay. Now you got it, both have issues the question is will they resolve thier past issues and find HEA...read it and find out. Now I'll be honest when I got the book in the mail and saw this thin sliver I was shocked. However Kelly Nyrae managed to weave an interesting plot around two people afraid to love for very valid reasons, and I did laugh think these two have got to be kidding me...they were made for each other.
