The GETI 2025 Reader complements the programme, offering curated theological and spiritual texts to stimulate critical thinking, engage diverse voices, and equip participants to respond to contemporary challenges with theological imagination and pastoral sensitivity.
The programme opens with a theological grounding in the work of the WCC's Faith and Order Commission, commemorating the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed. Its curriculum follows three interconnected paths--Via Positiva, emphasizing hope, witness, and justice; Via Negativa, reflecting on oppression, colonization, and trauma; and Via Transformativa, addressing urgent global realities such as persecution, migration, poverty, pluralism, and peacebuilding--culminating in a forward-looking reflection on visible unity in the contemporary world.
