When a Nigerian boy (Yemi) leaves his home country with his mum, on a scholarship to study in one of the prestigious college in the USA. His perspective about life in the western country changes entirely as he was faced with racial inequalities on arrival.
As the play progress, he met a white girl (Molly) at a supermarket as they fall in love with each other it's love at first sight. After getting to know each other more, the young man introduces his new girlfriend to his mum who instantly approve of their relationship.
But things began to take a turn for the worse, when his girlfriends father (Mr. Theodore) disapprove of their relationship after finding out. The play continues as it shows the embattled lovers who against all odds are trying to keep their beautiful relationship alive.
But will the foreigner endure with prejudice, or did he just find a happy ending with Molly?

Get That Black! is a prose-play which depicts the story of a young foreign scholar and the color of his skin. The play portrays few months in the life of the foreigner as he tries to adapt to the environ he found himself in, and also having to deal with systemic racism, bullying and peer pressure. It also showcases the racial realism of an elite whiteman in the contemporary American society. The play unflinchingly tackles themes of systematic racism and negrophobia.
