Following a trail of deceit across multiple states and leaving nothing but bad memories for the ones they hurt along the way; they find themselves in Baltimore. When one of the young women develops romantic feelings for one of their targets, loyalty is put to the ultimate test.

Despite the narrative's seemingly glamorized portrayal of their actions, shrouded in secrecy, intimacy, violence, and deception, the story conveys an underlying message that readers will discern.
