Germany's Agent Training Schools in Italy during the Second World War

This documentary history explores the German military intelligence schools established in Italy during the Second World War to train agents for the fascist cause. After the 1943 Italian armistice, the Abwehr and other Nazi agencies recruited diverse volunteers, including former officers and peasants, for espionage and sabotage missions against the Allies. These recruits were often rushed through intensive courses before being deployed as stay-behind assets or sent across enemy lines to gather intelligence and destroy infrastructure.
