A Marxist must

The German Ideology wasn’t published in Marx or Engels’ lifetimes, but it is undoubtedly one of their most important works for its elaboration and defense of historical materialism, critique of idealists viz. Feuerbach and Stirner, clarification of the *international* character of proletarian class struggle, and other contributions describing the characteristics of communist society. This edition also includes the similarly influential Theses on Feuerbach and Intro. to the Critique of Political Economy, the latter especially important for those interested in a Marxist epistemology.
