Agroforestry is a key strategy for sustainable land management, offering solutions to combat land degradation and climate change while boosting social and economic well-being. Understanding where agroforestry can thrive is essential for its successful expansion. This book presents a comprehensive suitability analysis for agroforestry in Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh, using advanced geospatial technology and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). By integrating ecological, topographical, soil, climatic, and socio-economic factors, the study maps out highly suitable, moderately suitable, and marginally suitable zones for agroforestry.
