The editor and proprietor George W.M. Reynolds wrote a lead article for the paper every week between 1850 and 1856. This first volume collects all of Reynolds's signed editorials for the year 1850, all of which have been transcribed by Stephen Basdeo and Jessica Elizabeth Thomas.
