This textbook is intended for students in a college geometry course, particularly those teaching geometry in high school or intending to study geometry at a higher level. The book covers the usual topics from a high school geometry level, but in a more refined way which stresses the axiomatic method. In the majority of the book the spherical and hyperbolic models of geometry are stressed in addition to Euclidean geometry. This is possible due to a slightly modified version of the SMSG axioms of geometry. The content is both classical and modern. In one way the approach is just an adaption of the ideas presented in Euclid's elements. However, topics are also discussed using modern mathematical language and with an eye towards preparing the reader for concepts used in differential and algebraic geometry. No prior knowledge of geometry is required. The only requirement is some familiarity with logic and mathematical proof writing. There are hundreds of figures and exercises for the reader.
