You thought your day started off on the wrong foot. Try waking up in a dumpster with bigger boobs and an unstoppable sex drive. That's what happened to Jackie. She's just experienced her first one-night stand and to make things more complicated, she slept with a fallen angel named Noah. To make things even more interesting, she's been changed into a sire and wants to roll in the sack 24/7. Noah tries to help Jackie deal with her new body and cravings but then he ends up battling a vampire, the same vampire who turned Jackie. This is when the story gets a lot more interesting. There was so much going on in this book that I couldn't put it down. I love a good Paranormal Romance and this one definitely gets five stars.

Biting & boinking, now THAT'S entertainment!

Take a little romance, a LOT of sex, stir in a heaping helping of jealousy, a handful of requisite evil villains, sprinkle with various supernatural elements and cook until done, and what you have when it's finished is a side-splittingly amusing take on the succubus myth. I sucked down these books just like the heroine sucked....well, I had better not finish that sentence because this IS a PG audience after all! Suffice it to say that I devoured both of these books in a day each and as soon as I finished the second one, went back online to see if there is a release date scheduled for the third installment. Well worth reading!

Reading with Tequila

I could not put Gentlemen Prefer Succubi down. I was completely transfixed and devoured the book in own quick sitting. Jill Myles hierarchy of supernatural creatures is a refreshingly fresh take on both vampires and angels. The best thing about Gentlemen Prefer Succubi is the main character, Jackie Brighton. She's a regular girl who became hot, so now she's a hot girl with regular girl thoughts. Instead of using her new found assets to her advantage, she's more likely to wonder why you won't stop staring and talking to her new assets. It's quite endearing. Jackie has a fun, slightly quirky attitude, so the sex is fun as well as hot. While I'm talking about hot, I should mention that Zane and Noah are beyond hot. Scorching is as good a word as any. A super-sexy succubus with a pair of men like the two of them after her, that Jackie is one lucky girl. The second book in the series, Succubi Like It Hot, will be out in mere days and I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on it. The Succubus Diaries is a series not to be missed.

A fun romance

Jackie Brighton's adventures as a newly-turned succubus are hilarious, sexy, and just plain fun! Jackie's a smart and witty heroine, who's determined to keep her dignity, even while scratching her new "Itch." And did I mention this book includes two swoon-worthy guys? The plot kept me guessing, too, and I really wasn't sure what Jackie was going to do to save the day in the end (and boy did it need saving). Full of adventure, danger, and a satisfying resolution, the first book in the Succubus Diaries will have me coming back for more--I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment!

wicked sense of humor

In New City, Wyoming museum docent Jackie Brighton wakes up in a dumpster. She thinks back to having met a guy at the swanky bar of the luxurious Grand National Hotel. Out of character for her, she had gone to the room of bachelor number one angel Noah for mind-boggling (and bodily parts) sex. Although she does not remember, she also ended up having a bite with Bachelor number two Zane the vampire. That sexual combo has turned her into a succubus that men desire including the angel and the vampire. Porn star succubus Remy mentors Jackie who begins a quest for a magical halo while trying to decide between the two bachelors in her life; knowing that if she chooses one over the other she has picked which side she joins in the cosmos war. The characters are stereotype as is the war; yet Gentlemen Prefer Succubi is a great one sitting read due to a wicked sense of humor in which author Jill Myles shows she has a deft touch as the timing seems to be perfect. Fans will cheer on the nerd who becomes a sex goddess, which has perks but also cons. Harriet Klausner
