BACK COVER: After losing her mother to Brest cancer, Jacquelyn Wilkes finds solace in a successful career as an oncology nurse in picturesque Winter Haven, Florida. But her dreams for the future crumble when a new doctor, Jonah Martin, brings his uncharacteristic, flamboyant, style to the clinic. Too friendly with his patients and too aloof with his nurses, the handsome doctor Martin is exactly the opposite of what Jacquelyn thinks a doctor should be- until she discovers a lump in her own brest and learns that it is malignant. As Jacquelyn and Jonah are forced to unite their efforts to resist the cancer invading her body, Jacquelyn realizes that another disease equally debilitating and dangerous has invaded Jonah's heart and soul. Will they be able to rescue each other? Or will their differences sabotage the healing each one desperately needs? MY REVIEW This was a very well written book on the subject of cancer and how a person does not have to let it rule their lives. This is also a wonderful story about letting God have control, even when its hard.
