Genocides Throughout History

Acting with justice in all things, this book represents a kind of soul-searching and confession that I am attempting to express. As you follow the steps outlined, you will notice a very common structure: thesis, antithesis, synthesis. In the first part, I present an overview of major crimes against humanity around the world, crimes committed by certain European countries (Portugal, France, Spain, England). I then move on to the French genocide in Algeria perpetrated by the colonial military, drawing on testimonies from senior officers or government officials on mission. The suffering and horrors endured by the Algerian people during 132 years of colonization and exploitation are beyond measure. The colonial objective was the extermination of the colonized Algerian people to replace them with European settlers. It was a policy of depopulation and repopulation. The colonialist predators found before them a tenacious, resilient, and courageous people who never lost their dignity and who, for over a century, never ceased to revolt and take up arms to reclaim their freedom.
