Deuteronomy 6:7 says, "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Fathers, that was written to you! It is your responsibility to teach your children how to live their lives in light of the Word of God; you are to be their example and guide. But you can't teach what you don't know. This book is for the father who is, perhaps, not as studious as he could be. It is comprised of the same comments and questions I offer my children as we gather around the kitchen table for family Bible study; and by the way, it was written five minutes at a time in the break room of a factory in mid-Missouri.
