Vincent Eugene Craddock, born on February 11th, 1935, Norfolk, Virginia, US, known as Gene Vincent, was a singer and musician, who pioneered the styles of rock 'n' roll and rockabilly. His top ten hit with his Blue Caps during 1956, "Be-Bop-A-Lula", is regarded as a significant early example of rockabilly. Gene was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
