Jane is beautiful, bi-sexual, and a clinical hermaphrodite. She makes a good living as an exotic dancer and dominatrix. She works with her roommate and lover, Mary. Frank, who is attracted to she-males, has been following Jane for years. Sharon, a brilliant scientist specializing in tissue regeneration, works for Frank. Frank convinces Sharon to experiment on Jane, to attempt the creation of a true hermaphrodite, something more than human. But Sharon's marriage is failing, and she falls in love with Jane during the treatment process. Tom, Sharon's husband, seeks the services of a dominatrix because he can't find satisfaction with his wife. He contacts Mary, who falls in love with him. Jane, Mary, Fred, Frank, Sharon, and Tom: at one level, this book describes their passionate and conflicting quests for lust, love, and power; not all will survive. At another level, the story explores the nature of sexuality in relationships, and why we do what we do. WARNING: The story contains explicit descriptions of sexual practices, and even though each scene is integral to the story's development, if you are offended by explicit sexual literature, you should probably not buy this book.
